Now a days if you are using a Mobile phone than you are depend on it too, this is fact of our life. i we lost our mobile like dropped, stolen, water damage, physical damage or any thing else. we will realise that we lost our contacts that were working like our hands.

I found some ways to backup your contacts. In multimedia Phone you have connectivity solution and have PC SUIT. that is very Easy to backup your phone contacts to your PC using PC suit

First install Nokia PC suit for your Nokia Mobile. You can search it on Goole or DOWNLAOD it direct from Nokia’s site. after download install and Run it. After successfully connectivity open your Nokia Pc-Suit Phonebook from your 5th option see Image on left.

After open contacts you can view your contacts in your PC now just Simple Copy Paste your contacts to your desire location.

After backup you can restore it to your almost any Nokia Mobile (Which support Nokia PC suit)

In Windows Mobile I found some ways to backup your contacts. In multimedia Phone you have connectivity solution and have PC SUIT. that is very Easy to backup your phone contacts to your PC using PC suit

I found third party software for Windows Mobile Phone to transfer SMS to your desktop computer. Here is the user’s guide (3 main Steps)
1. Download the third party software and Install it
2. Transfer the SMS from your mobile to PC
3. Restore SMS from pc to mobile
1.Download the third party software and Install it
Step 1 Download the SMS transfer tool
Step 2: Unzip the file you downloaded just now and copy the installation file “GodswMobileSMSTransferSetup.CAB” to your mobile device. You may need to connect your device to a host computer using ActiveSync. You can also transfer the file using a memory card.
Step 3: On your device, navigate to the location of the CAB file using File Explorer. Click on the CAB file (displayed as the following screenshot) and click “Install” to begin the installation.
2. Transfer the SMS from your mobile to PC
Now let’s use the software to finish the transfer job.
Step 1: Click “start” and then select programs.
Step 2: Select the “SMSTransfer” in your mobile programs list to run it.
Step 3: Click on “Backup Messages” in the main interface to backup you SMS messages in mobile phone. You will see the follow

Step 4: Decide the file name, file format and location (The default setting is OK) for your SMS file and click on “Save” to start to backup process. You will see the follow screenshot.

Step 5: After backup completes, all the SMS messages has been backup in a file on your phone. You can save it in your memory card or transfer it to your computer easily by ActiveSync.

3. Restore SMS from pc to mobile
Before backup, the mobile phone do not have any messages as a brand new phone.

In Samsung Mobiles you can install Pc-Suit and backup your contacts to your PC. It is similar as Nokia

If you have a GPRS enable Mobile than you don’t have to connect your Phone with your PC. just use GPRS and backup your contacts and messages to Rediff server for Free.

Verdict: if you use Nokia Pc suit for your Nokia mobile and Samsung Pc Suit for your SAMSUNG mobile, You can backup your contacts to your pc in there format thus you can restore it on only there mobiles like Nokia Pc suit will not work on Samsung Mobile and Samsung Pc suit will not work in Nokia mobiles. You can Use Rediff Mobile for your universal contacts backup.
